Day 22 - Doesn't Mix Well with Others
Due to their vastly different molecular structures and properties, the water (a polar molecule) and the vegetable oil (a non-polar hydrocarbon) separate when mixed. This is one of the first bottles filled roughly four years ago with water, red food coloring, and vegetable oil taken from my home's kitchen.
No matter how hard I try, I cannot get them to stay together.
